Hi all

Be interesting to hear what the people who had success with the original recipe find with this recipe.    this was quite an overestimation on the oil content originally from someone who should have made it a few times??

May give this a try if any of the original users of the base report success.

Just my thoughts

I dont like the flavour that mr naga adds to the curry.  as you say, it does not just add the heat but the different spice taste that i do not like.

Hi

it reads to me like a traditional.  not sure why things like this cause such in fighting and talk about standing ground.  i assumed (possibly incorrectly) that the BIR dishes were used making a base gravy.  also the amount of garam masala used is similar to the amount used in many traditional recipes i have tried.

Just my tuppence worth.

My favourite rogan josh from my local is a two part curry withe the first curry a standard affair with the second part a sweet red colour moreish mix which i have found hard to replicate
