I had a Vindaloo from this place again and I watched the chef put a light coloured 3 or 4 scoops full of ingredients as it was being cooked( looked like onion & garlic green coloured scoops into the pan....full heat....sizzling hot....again it had "the smell" and "the taste". Wasn't as delicious as the first time but it had the bloody taste again!!!!!!!!!!! :-\ :-\

Im getting angry about this now because we are so close but so far!!! :-\

Oh happy new year by the ways lol  ;)

Last year I grew scotch bonnets and Naga's at my allotment, on one stage I decided to cut open a couple of naga's {for seeds next year } but couldn't find my surgical gloves which I use for these purposes. Needless to say at one stage I developed an itch in a very predominately personal body area, and without thinking scratched them  :o :o :o and subsequently had to hose the said area for half an hour and walked home like John Wayne. {leason learned I think } ::) ::). :'(

Very funny indeed spicysarsy. Somehow I can imagine your the type that cooks with the fag in the mouth (with a big bit of ash about to fall off) throwing in a little bit of this and a little bit of that into the pots and a quick sneaky "scratch" when required

Breaking Curry News Flash!!
One of Glasgow's best loved BIR's and winner of Best curry house in Britain 7 times has been destroyed  by a fire. :'(

I had the privilege to eat there only twice and besides having ME as a customer, Keanu Reeves, Billy Connolly and Tom Jones have also graced its tables.

Will be sadly missed  :'(

Oh....I passed by soon after the flames were extinguished to see if I could have a peek for a recipe book but no success.......the "quest" continues!!!!!!!
On a lighter note, the entire west end of Glasgow now smells of curry and before any of you ask......no.....it doesn't have "the smell" anymore.

See the links for more info on this tragic story......

I think he may have finally succeeded. He has overdosed on pure scotch bonnet chilli paste.  ;D

Your not suggesting we post an Alley Cat Chicken Vindaloo recipe on the Forum are you Stew ::) :o

Chilli Prawn - If that recipe told us how to get the taste and smell, I wouldn't care less if it included bits of my own pet dog and would personally supply him with all my neighbours cats!!!!

And Stew, Im trying to think of a way in getting hold of that recipe.....might have to offer the chef a little more than just the ?10  :-*  :o.........JOKE  :D Not that desperate  :P
