I never claimed it was my own work I altered some words so as not to annoy the writer

I have not posted on this site for a long time,but feel I MUST respond to your post here
I agree and understand that it is the techniques and understanding of cooking spices etc that will produce a good result.
It still remains that lots here still believe in" magic ingredients"
They don't get the results they want frustration then takes over,rudeness. silly abusive posts etc Hours wasted on forums instead of learning how to cook good currys
I lived at Hanwell for some years and learned loads from chefs in Southall,good shopping there as well.
Ii hope some others read and learn from your refreshing post and thanks for sharing the links ;D

Does the colour matter as long as your happy with the end result ?
KD1 base is easy and is yellow and a good base  ;D

Just onions cooked long and low after soaking for 15 mins to expel the unwanted acids is all that's needed
Unless you run a Bir add spices as demanded by recipes Believe it or nor some Birs use this method so as the staff cant copy the chefs recipes
This method is only any good if you are confident in what your doing otherwise back to powders and bases with cabbages dead foxes etc

Why not buy some seeds from the" net "and choose the variety you want or garden centre
That way you know what you got
Avoid the F1s So as you can save seeds
I have some Tree chilli plants 25 years and still going providing me with bucket loads  ;D
