Hmmm... don't know of different names, but different pronouciation is common (some Bangladeshis say something more like 'gorom moshola' - guess its one of those phonetic things (like Nan, Naan, Nun etc...)

Anyone got these?

I have been searching to do Andys curry recipes, but can't find them anywhere.

I tried Asda, then 4 small 'asian' shops and 4 'bangladeshi' shops and finally the 'Indian' cash and carry - but nobody seems to have them.  :(

Have you tried Naga Morich yet? They are much hotter and have a lovely chilli/lemony flavour that doesn't dominate a dish (as SB;s can in my experience)

But then again, maybe you like the flavour of them ;)

YF, good point. But I still would rather eat in a place that was proud to show thier facilities than one that didn't, for the reasons in the fist post. :)

My favourite BIR uses Rajah, he says that it is the best quality. But I do have a packet of thier chilli powder and it's hotter than their 'extra hot' one  :-\

Asda prices on the packets of spice are much cheaper than the indian shops and even the cash and carry.
