many bands sing it, practically every irish/scots folk band has done a version. the dubliners version i think is one of the best, bands that also have a version are the corries, drop kick murphys, wolftones and the scottish wolfstones

4 degrees today, things getting slushy. lets hope its the start of the great melt. im away working next week which means lots of driving around the north. dont fancy doing it in snow drifts.

i like the traditional folk music

she sings the fields of athenry well, being a celtic man i know that song well:)
