Cheers curryhell, the office girls at work have lined me up to make them a batch as well off the back of this picture, I'm not worried though as they did taste as good as they looked!!

Hi all
Having just figured out how to upload photo's I thought I'd share with you a photo of some bhaji's and mint sauce I made the other night. They were fantastic!!

Success!!
Having waited an hour and a half for the dough cycle to finish i'm very impressed with the results. The dough was initially a bit too wet so I kept adding flour to achieve the right consistency. I then cooked it in a hot frying pan as i dont have a tava.

Finally I brushed the cooked naan with garlic butter and it was delish!!

Happy days!

My thoughts exactly Hotstuff, has anybody actually tried. I think I'm gonna give Josh's version a try tonight and if successful I'll report back!

Thinking of having a go at some Naan bread dough using a bread machine. Spotted some great looking Naan's on the site so wondered if anybody has had any success with this method. Im not  overly confident on a result by hand.

cheers

Hi julian
Big applause from me to not only having the boll#%ks to go into business with your curries, but to also post on you tube. I think it's fantastic that people like me can look forward to learning about your experiences and recreate the recipes your presenting. Its obvious that all over our nation each dish has a difference and we all know that they are inventions and interpretations of what we assume is based on our own favourite curry albeit different in other people's mouths. Any knowledge you've acquired and shared is most welcome from me my friend.
The best of luck

Wayne

Thanks Phil

I will try that one, as I do have all the ingredients. In fact I'm on day off tomorrow so will try it along with Blade's tikka to go with the Jalfrezi!!

I have to say Paul the onion Bhaji's by IG were pretty much spot on to what I'm used to. The first one or two one's that came out were a bit of a learning curve for adjusting ingredients to get the right texture, but the remaining batch were spot on, on the other hand I'm a bit cautious on the Pilau rice. It all looks a bit of a process for something that appears so simple. What with washing drying boiling baking etc. There must be a simpler way. I'm sure Indian takeaways can't go to that much effort. Who's got the simplest yet most effective one?

cheers

I know what you mean, I've never heard of aloo chop though let alone tried making it, I think I need to look for a recipe for that one and give it a go!
