One thing that amazes me is that if cooked right, all these hot dishes don't give you the ring of fire that I used to get in the past! No more "comfy bum" toilet paper from the fridge!

Hi mate, I would recommend CA,s base gravy and powder blends. I also have star anise, fennel seeds, coconut powder, almond powder, cloves, paprika and garlic powder in my essential list of ingredients. There's loads more to add as you try a broad selection of meals that are recommended here! Enjoy

I made and ate CA's chicken tikka masala phall this weekend and absolutely loved it!!!

2 tsp's of kashmiri mirch and a tbsp of dried birds eye chillis blitzed in the grinder were the order of the day, all washed down with Dips mushroom pilau rice, roti's and Cobra beer! What a lovely mixture of heat and sweetness!!

Here's the piccy!

Possibly my favourite CA dish so far!

Well i thought i'd make some of 976 Garlic Chilli sauce from his garlic chilli chicken recipe and use later this week when I get some more chicken.
I must say it tasted great whilst cooking and cant wait to add some chicken later in the week for my mid week fix.

Here's the pics

Hi

Can you confirm that this below is Az garam masala's recipe and is the cardamon powder or whole with husks etc

three cinammon sticks
one heaped desert spoon green cardomon
one flat level mustard seed
three quarters level onion seed
five or six bay leaves
one level cumin
half level fennel
Simply roast in the oven, cool then put into a coffe grinder. The smell was amazing,so different to the pre made stuff.Az said it's pretty potent stuff and should be used sparingly,
certainly not sprinkled on a dish at the end as some sources suggest.

Cheers

Hi, i didn't notice Micks comments re spoons at the top of his recipe so used it as typed, i.e tsp = teaspoon and tbsp = tablespoon. I used 1 teaspoon of Kashmiri Mirch without extra chillies

Loved it!!

Hi, CA's recipe doesn't include potato and in my opinion is the best out there! Why not give it a go?

:P
