What about a book simply entitled "Curries" by Meg Jansz..Hamlyn books. Its similar to the 50 Indian Curries one but takes a journey through Asia from India to Sri Lanka and Thailand to Indonesia. Over 100 recipes...

In Chinese takeaways/Restaurants that dish is know as "The cream of sumyungguy" Sorry. I did have a chicken curry from a Chinese takeaway years ago after several pints of the falling down water. Chicken tasted a bit funny but I ate the lot. Two days later,front page of local newspaper, takeaway closed down! dead cats and dogs found in freezer........

Hi team  got this book from library and wondered if anyone has come across it.It called 50 Great Curries of India. by Camellia Panjabi....There is a recipe for a daag curry base.. Sound familiar... ;D

Hi fumble,  welcome to the forum my friend. Sounds good to me. I have a small greenhouse and have just bought a packet of seeds so I might grow some on a window sill and some in the greenhouse. Thanks for posting.. Hope to hear more from you soon..
