Oh no. Not another secret! At least tell me, is it 5 % of the result or more? If it's less than 5% I wont obsess over it for too long. Possibly only 5 - 10 years instead of 20.

Mighty impressive Garp and I see the benefits of the grow lamp. Mine are just sprouting, all have been transferred to seed trays with compost now.

Talk About Anything Other Than Curry / Re: Global warming, local freezing

Because that is weather Phil. Climate is something else.
Weather can come in many forms, depending which way the wind is blowing. Climate is measured on an altogether larger scale and the changes in the climate are providing messed up weather on an increasingly regular basis. Sometimes warmer weather, sometimes colder.
Once this pandemic plays out, it will be interesting to see how much lower greenhouse gas emissions are this year than others, and whether that can have any noticeable effect or if a one year blip makes no odds.

Well a few of my seeds have finally sprouted, but quite a small proportion overall. I think I possibly dampened the kitchen towel they are sitting in a little too much. I suppose they need damp, not wet conditions.

Lets Talk Curry / Re: Bhajis !!

My last attempt at Onion Bhajis was a big disappointment. I really didn't see what all the fuss was about. I've spent a couple of hours this morning researching through this forum and linked youtubes, plus other recipes, and come up with some interesting variations on the theme. I'm going to spend some time today (raining outside) making some "starters".
I'm going to try a hybrid blend of about 4 or 5 different Bhaji recipes with some variable experimentation.
Sorry for going off topic, but I'll also be making a starter dish I made once before that went down a treat with the family. It's a lot of work but the results are very tasty. Malabar style Chicken Spring Rolls. It's a lot of work because the wrappers are individually cooked on the tawa. I guess you could use frozen Chinese spring roll wrappers but last time the fresh cooked ones were really good.

Anyway, I'll report back on the Bhajis.
Look forward to hearing about it. I
