Looks really good. I'm salivating looking at my screen.

Did you follow any particular style/recipe or just a little of whatever came to hand?

Cheers SoberRat, I have something like a dozen base recipes in my file but yours was absent, so duly added. I realised I am very low on base so will give this a go this weekend, if time permits. The chicken madras looks good and the recipe very similar to one I made a short while ago. I'm not normally a fan of CK but I'll give this a go as well. Many thanks RM

?30 on extra ingredients but think how many curries that will produce compared with what you would get in a TA or restaurant for ?30  8)

Both look great. Do you have a favourite base and which recipes did you follow or was it one of your own making?

Hi JennyLou90 - like you I'm pretty new here.

I found powdered food colouring on ebay, there are plenty of companies selling but I bought from this one

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/151061617078?lpid=122&chn=ps&adgroupid=28306099746&rlsatarget=pla-184492173426&adtype=pla&poi=&googleloc=1006764&device=c&campaignid=628859225&crdt=0

hey presto nicely coloured CTM and shish kebabs. It doesn't affect the flavour, so some people prefer not to use food colouring but it does ad an appeal to a dish. I'm currently trying to 'shift a few pounds' so laying off the curries but as Arnie once said 'I'll be back'

The falafel do look fantastic. Every so often I get enthused to make a another batch but I'm invariably underwhelmed by the flavour, nothing like the takeaway or restaurant ones. Guess I'm missing the secret ingredient  ;)

I've spotted those little critters in bags of rice and other stuff. One way I found to kill them all off efficiently was to put the bag of rice into the freezer for a day or so. The cold kills the bugs and doesn't (seem to) affect the rice

Hi JB - the spread looks fantastic. I wish my food looks (and I guess tastes) anything like that. I'm always curious how people serve so many dishes to the table and keeping the food hot. I don't think I could even get that many dishes in my oven. It would be great if you could share any tips/advice
