Lets Talk Curry / Re: Indian cook in your home

I'm in the wrong country!  :-\
I'd do it. Sounds like a good deal and you can learn just so long as he tells you exactly what is going into what?

Looks absolutely delicious. :P

Currypot there are some great videos banging around in the video section. That's where I would start so you don't become confused by wording.

Then choose a recipe and try following the various methods on show there. Just my take of course but I feel seeing how its done really does help.
I hope this helped?

Thanks Ermin that made me larf royally  ;D
I've seen one of those  ::)

Seriously though, Domi has it in my view. Start a curry food topic, I can't believe we were slammed for talking about chippy Chips in the non curry section. Its a common question which I think was answered very well by many.

I'll get back to my curry cooking ways soon, I've had a lot on frankly.
As they say over here.
Peaceout.
Best regards to all.
Me.

It's being happy that keeps you going isn't it CA?  ;D
No one died did they?

Ok I'll refrain from making friends, gee man. If you have a problem ban me lol!

Baking and humid here. Dunno what the problem is CA. I thought it relaxed and a lot of fun. It's why I started posting again.

Chipfryer.

Same with me Jerry unless I'm miles from anywhere and I'm hungry. I do check reviews on line but am wary when I see OTT postings. Probably staff posts lol!

To make it even more diverse........
I use Tempura batter for the fish. Cod can be expensive here, even more so if they start to drink gulf oil  :-\
Anyway it works a treat and is really crispy. I swap out Cod sometimes for Tilapia, there's not that much between them. Well having been here for a while I guess I can't remember properly but lovely grub.  ;D

@ CA. Yes I thought I heard that too about frozen chips. Cheers.

Hi Razor.
Yes this is important thanks for bringing it up.
Actually I made some oven chips once just to see if they would work from the first fry. Turned out pretty good really.
Cheers mate.  ;D

Just one thing to add, the condition of the oil really determines the quality of the chip. New oil, no good, old oil, no good.  It has to be somewhere in-between to get the best results.
