As its summer my other favourite food of BBQ has taken over a bit. Heres my first attempt at a low and slow brisket. 12 hours overnight in the smoker over some chunks of whisky barrel oak.

All good looking plates of food. Nice one.

Well I had a epic bir day yesterday and as for 'boys and their toys', too right. A million times better fun than than standing with an inverted tawa over a gas ring or in front of a grill. As the coals were hot for ages we were looking for other stuff to put on.

Tandoori Baked Spuds (well whats left of them    :)



and some chicken drumsticks (quick marinade but still tasty)



Even tried an aubergine.

Most impressive was Chewy hand slapping the naans on bare handed with no naan cushioin.

Of course we finished of the day with a curry, it would be rude not to. 

700w handblenders at Aldi .......

Welcome anglais. For the first time ever I actually saw coriander in E.Leclerc this year whilst in France. Times are changing, I remember paying 6 euros for some chili powder after going to 5 supermarkets trying to find some not that many years ago.

Genesis, Phoenix and NotFilmOn for me on an Android box (also run it on my PC). I think I've installed Fusion on it as well but the missus mainly watches it so can't remember.Was the easiest way for the missus to watch TV in the kitchen. I use one of the home electrical plug systems for the network connection and its great. I really to to clean out all the unused stuff on it.
