great videos Chewy and many thanks for taking the time and effort to post.
much appreciated by newcomers to curry cooking like myself
much better than reading a recipe and wondering where it all went wrong
at least with the visuals you can see what its meant to look like
Cheers :)

awrabest :)
got 75% of a beef vindaloo from last night in the fridge. gonna munch on that when I come home about midnight :)
ordered over fone last night. the chef actually answered the fone and said "do you know this is hot"
me being dumba$$ said "hell yeah.love it hot.the hotter the better!!"
methinks he thought to himself.."i'm gonna teach this dude a lesson"..coz when it arrived it was HOT.. much hotter than usual..a bit too hot in fact. thats why i only ate about a quarter of it :)
gonna give it another go tonight after I've had a few beers :)
spoke to the chef and asked him about his base gravy and curry "secrets"...he had a laugh and said "there is no secret"...Happy Christmas

Ralim,

you'd be better off getting someone to buy it for you and post it over in a jiffy bag.
can't see that costing nearly 70 quid
obviously you'd need to somehow give them the cash tho :)
Cheers

Ray,

I use Chewys 3 hr base and his madras recipe(with a couple of minor tweaks to suit my personal taste). It tastes absolutely nothing like a madras from Glasgow, BUT, IMO it tastes better...because you know you made it from scratch.
herein lies the problem. last week I took a Chewy madras up to my bro in law. he said "no way did you make that you fcuker"...or words to that effect. he was well impressed. in fact, he mentioned a few times that it actually tasted better than the skanky T/A that he uses 2 or 3 times a week...
my next project is gonna be cooking this with Blades chicken tikka..this is gonna blow him away :)
anyway, the point I'm making is simple...if you can make a Ruby, to suit your needs, with the information on this site, well done you.
also, Kudos to the many people who create and re-create to give people like me the chance to easily make some right tasty curry. BIR or not :)
anyways...been on a xmas nite out...sorry for the seplling mstikaes
HAVE A HAPPY CHRISTMADRAS :)
