Made these for our Anniversary BBQ, mixed them up and let them "sweat" for an hour before adding rice and gram flour, they went down well.

I would go for the unheated room, thats warm enough for them/it, bring them in late october, dont let them suffer frost though, remove all fruit and cut the plant back, look up overwintering chilli plants on youtube, if its a bright room i would probably shade it somehow, you dont want it waking up and sprouting,

Do not feed it until it shows signs of new growth in the spring, just keep the soil from drying out, too much water will rot the roots, good luck

That was the main bit of concern, the way the water was splashing about and where after being on raw chicken it ends up, good to see how its done in the "real" world lol

Ive lost every one so far, i have cut them back, kept them in a frost free environment but clearly not got the soil conditions right, ie just moist. i shall be trying again this winter.

I like the idea of the fennel seeds being crushed, that way i think you will get the little taste hits the seeds impart without getting them stuck in your teeth.

Ive got 6 chilli plants all doing reasonably well, the Naga is dragging its heels a bit to ripen for Oct but we will see, I dont have a greenhouse, just a south facing patio is where all my plants live, funny went to the beach yesterday and this morning one of the chilli plants let me know it hadnt been watered, luckily it recovered after a couple of hours.

I will take full responsibility for that Sverige as it was me that first mentioned the subject of hygene, apologies for that.

Its easy to prepare and can be either a snack or a main meal, its just lovely to see it prepared for the family in that way, yes breaking western hygene rules but it doesnt seem to have done him any harm lol.
