Just did a test run of my naans (first time making EVER!! )

Although it did fall into the flame and so I just flipped it over to cook like you would a pancake. It was superbly tasty. I put a bit of garlic butter on it and ate it all before I could get a pic  ::)

Will take some with the "real" ones later  ;D

Cheers, just got the new one. I have made to spec except I have only put 60 grams of sugar as one of our local naan shops are a bit sweet and the kids don't like them. Will see if 60grams still works.

Iwant them NOW!!
lol  :-*

I plan on making some H4ppy Naan mix and start marinating my Chicken tikka today for tomorrows tea.
or....Am I best doing the naans tomorrow?
Will the dough be better if fresh?
And if I wanted to freeze/ fridge some for another day at what stage shall I do this?

Cheers guys :)

Curry Base Chat / Kashmiri Mirch / Deggi Mirch
February 15, 2014, 05:28 PM
So I ordered some spices online as I thought I could not source locally (I can...Duh!!!)
I got some Kashmiri mirch and then today in a local ethnic supermarket I got the Deggi mirch but on the packaging it is descibed as Kashmiri chilli. Is it not the same?
Is it a different blend?
Sorry for being a dimwit but I am trying to give myself a crash course in BIR cooking
