Hi , here's a tip, I make mine separately with just enough water to cover the garlic or ginger, then blend and then freeze in ice cube trays. Once frozen i usually decant into freezer bags then pop back into the freezer.

Hi Lord Muzzy

Welcome!!!

G/G paste is garlic and ginger paste. Most people I think prefer to make their own by blending 50/50 or sometimes 60/40 garlic cloves to ginger root in water (or oil). Although it is readily available pre blended etc

Well

I made CWG's IG onion bhajis with the potato in and they blew me and the pub away!! These are very different to the last lot i took to the pub, CA's. They are less sweet and more savoury and more crispy and are now the preffered ones for said pub. I think the difference is the lack of sugar and the inclusion of the asafotaeida

Very nice and moorish!!

Great thread mate. i have just been reading about Dips base and excluding the chillis it is described as lightly spiced and does have quite a bit of veg in compared to say CA's, which seems to be what you have found, i wonder if this is the  key after all?

Cheers SS

Not really just double checking, what about defrosting - pre cooking then re freezing etc? I am having a party for about 30 and will need to prep some days in advance.

Cheers

Wow

Thats very similar to Dips, only lime pickle instead of lemon juice, just goes to show the best always last!
