I have been purchasing naan breads, usually Tesco 6 mini garlic and coriander for ?1.00. Is it really worth all the effort of making my own ?

YES  :)

Are you feeding while fruiting?
Are they getting enough sun?
Make sure they havent got aphids or other nasties, and dont overwater.

To be honest it sounds like your plants are just dieing, maybe from been too cold.

I wouldnt have thought the chillies would shrivel up on a healthy plant.

Picking a couple of unripe chillies can stress the plant and cause it too ripen the other chillies quicker.
What chillies are you growing madpower? and where are you growing them?

Lets Talk Curry / Re: A visit to a Restaurant
February 08, 2016, 03:31 PM
Cheers gav, hope I can get in their kitchens ct, the food was outstanding, I have sent a friend request and hope to pay another visit soon.

Meggeth after having some average take aways and the fact I havent really been out for curry in the past year I thought my curries were good, but after last nights I realise that there is still a good % missing from my curries, be it in the base, the mix powder or the technique, I really dont know which? I am now a little disappointed with my own curries, which makes me more determined to try and get in their kitchen.

In the restaurant you have to walk past the kitchen to get to the toilets, there was no door on the kitchen only a metal chain type curtain to I could see perfectly well, and watched for a few minutes as they did the usual of adding spice with chef spoon , flames were high and everything was been cooked on high.
It is only a small kitchen and a small family run restaurant, I like this as its more personal, and I think you get better quality service and food.

Cant say Ive used garlic powder or mustard powder in a mix spice, might be worth a try
