He he he, You're right. I reckon my way will give you a takeaway Biryaini in a few minutes though?  :)

Biryani in all the BIRs I've been to is merely re-cooked rice, I reckon.

Take 3/4 of a takeaway container of pilau rice.
Slice 1/2 an onion and fry it in oil till translucent.
Add in rice and stir fry, add precooked chicken.

Take a cup of frozen mixed veg and half an onion, stir fry in two tablespoons of oil until veg is cooked and onion is translucent and then add half a container of base stock. Cook as you would a curry.

Now get a frying pan and make an omelette out of two eggs.

Garnish with cucumber slices, tomato and chopped coriander, add the omelette and serve with the veg curry.

Ah, you're the same as me then! I never write recipes down either.

Not another Manc, lol!  ;D

I've got some ideas about those sauerkraut samosas. I reckon they could work...

I know what you mean, I do exactly the same! Somehow I always manage to polish off the main course though...

Cool, I'll try them out, they sound pretty tasty. I followed your suggestion of putting cumin seeds in my spiced onions, a revelation! I'm sold. Cheers for that.  :)

Next chilli day I'll give it a go.

Cheers guys

So the stuff is sweet chilli sauce? Boy is my face red!

I've never bought it as I always go for the hot variety, erk.

I've never come across this. Though most Liverpool restaurants serve a dipping sauce (which I've never been able to replicate) which is red and sweet, almost like jam? I've had this in Bolton and Manchester too. It comes with the poppadums on the beginning of the journey.
