Spent a couple of hours yesterday knocking up 4 bags/16 chicken thighs of this tandoori recipe ready for freezing this afternoon, from now on all i have to do is defrost and cook a bag full and thats mine and the missus's curry half done :)

Its fairly simple and makes a fine Bhaji:-

serves 2
1 spanish onion finely sliced
50g chick pea flour/gram flour
0.5tsp ground cumin
0.5tsp ground corriander
0.25tsp turmeric
pinch of cayenne pepper
0.25tsp baking powder(leave out if you suffer from heart-burn)
15g fresh chopped corriander
0.5tsp salt

Mix all ingrediants together in a bowl and place in fridge for half an hour.
Remove from fridge, shape into balls and throw gently in a deep fat fryer until golden brown
Remove and drain.
Scoff.
Well worth trying and it really is good.
Recipe taken from 100 great Indian recipes by Jaqueline Bellafontaine.

This has to be the nicest recipe i've used here or anwhere.
Everytime i make a curry now im knocking this stuff up for it :)
I just finished a Tandoori Chicken Balti madras and the missus and i loved it.(well she did complain about the chilli but that isnt my fault its the chillies that are hot not me)
Wicked recipe.

As a side note, when i make a curry of any description i usually chop up my chicken and simmer it for 20-25 mins in plain salted water, then when added to the curry for 5 mins at the end its nice and soft and cooked through.
When cooking any chicken, either in the oven roasted of stir-fried, boiled in a soup, stew or curry, its best to cut a piece at its thickest and check its cooked through before serving. Pork also.

Im glad ite worked for you nai, i must admit its never failed for me, although i have noticed that if you follow my original recipe i have put the timings in SECONDS rather than MINUTES lol.
And as for easy cook rice, i wouldn't bother, it'll be shite, and i dont see the need, this recipes easy, quick and it works.
If it aint broke dont fix it.
