A rule of thumb for doubling recipes is-

Meat/Chicken/Veg x2
Liquid x2
Spices x 1.5
Salt x1.5

My way of cooking  :)
Looks bloody fantastic chewy, one to try for the wife (she loves potato in curry)
Im guessing the "fresh mix spice powder (10)" has 10 spices ?
I love grinding my own coriander, cumin, chilli, garam etc , just another nice touch to improving flavours.

Thanks Roida, I have seen it available online in various places.

If it was in my local store I would buy it out of curiosity for 0.75p, I cannot imagine any of my local restaurants buying it online for those prices to be honest.

Hi,
Made this today, only difference ingredients wise is that I used 2 sweet red peppers because 2 in a pack. It tastes amazing! I have not watered down yet because I will be freezing it so hope that does not affect the taste. Slightly different because I done both stages in the same day, but it has a mild sweeet taste, but not overpowering.

Did you do the full 30 onions or scale down?

I explained the aftertaste associated with having a good curry, hard to explain but its the difference between a good one and a bad one! Aftertaste may be the wrong terminology its more of a great satisfying  feeling from your taste buds.

Yep thats the aftertaste I was asking about.

Never tried the Jalpur range of spice blends as they dont sell them in any Asian shops near me.
