Had some time to kill needed some new base so thought id stick it up.

Ca's base but double the quantity thats posted fed up of running out missus not to happy about the freezer space though ;D

And this was CA's chicken madras only i forgot the tandoori masala so didn't get the dark colour of my usual madras

Chris i do hang my head in shame they are ready to eat i'm affraid its all they had in the tesco express on the way home from work it was either that or a soggy ready to eat nan bread  :'(

made your jalfrezi tonight was very tasty i don't eat them usually so don't know what to compare it to but was very nice i have posted a pic of my results in the pic section i did add some extra chopped chili but apart from that followed your recipe

Only me in for dinner tonight i had 1 last batch of CA's base left ( looks like i know what I'm doing this weekend  :P ), any way thought I'd try CA's jalfrezi but i added a few more chopped chillies to give it a kick and i must say although I'm not a jalfrezi eater so i don't really know what I'm comparing it to but i must say it was damn good definitely make it again.

This sounds very promising like you say the restaurants don't give to much away so this could be a foot in the door ;D, i was in my local Bir the other day and tried to get his peshwari nan filling off him he wouldn't tell me quantities but he did give me some ready made filling to take home with me to try to work it out think i know whats in it just need to get the mix right now but getting there ;D

Well hold onto your hat because the ride just gets better i have only been a member for about 4 months and although iv been cooking curries for years i had never given the BIR a go but ill never look back now and all the people i cook for say they can tell the improvement so i hope u have as much joy as me mate ;D

i think you could be right because the same site that had the jaflong did have cbm recipes on aswell, if you have a look in the video posts i have put up the links will take you there its worth a look.
