Yes I would take it to the micro straight from frozen and a few drops of water won't harm it as it should boiled off as it creates a bit of steam. Too much though and you'd end up with watery rice.

welcome mrplumber - go to the main dishes section and you'll find lots of good recipes

you can try mixing those ingredients into a paste with milk and then pressing it into your nan dough

I went to a Nepalese restaurant in Edinburgh a while back but it seemed no more than a BIR with pics of Everest thrown in. Couldn't see anything different in the food.
