Hi CurryHell

Great report there! the curry in the pictures really looks the real deal!

Sorry if I missed it - I know you were doing a lot of prep yesterday - did you use / make up some Zaal base and spice mix for these experiments?

Thanks

There's a fine line between f**ked and fantastic.
Aint that the truth, eh Russ? ;)  A very warm welcome to the site.  Hopefully, i'm not about to experience the former as i attempt to replicate my efforts on Sunday ;D :o :-\ ;)

You have to be careful here Gary.

A question If I may,
Did AZ use the GM in any of the final dishes he made? (Apart from whats in the spice mix.)

Les

Hi Les

The GM was not added as a separate entity to any of the dishes that we saw.

Thanks

Hi Everyone

For all of your viewing pleasures - here is the next instalment. This is Az cooking us one of the dishes we requested him to demonstrate - 'Saag Bhaji'.

I guess we can tidy these video clips up and get them in the curry videos section so they don't get lost when this thread calms down a little?

Here you are:

Hi

I (think) have your standard Roshney & JB's Bhuna on video. Unfortunately missed ChrisWG's extra hot Roshney although maybe JB has that? - Will endeavour to upload over the next day or so.

Thanks

Hi ELW

Just my personal opinion here.

I know it is more hassle to make your own, but it is worth it. I personally believe that the stuff in jars just does not give the same results as G&G you prepared yourself. Besides if you make a big batch and mix in some sunflower oil keep it in a sealed clean container in the fridge it keeps for quite a while. Plus that jar stuff spits like an angry lama when you add it to the pan - can't stand that!

Cheers
