Welcome Alex there are a few folk on the site who still use the KD base, albeit they have adapted it to their tastes and experience. I'm sure you'll fine other bases that grab your attention on the site here too.

We are all well-intentioned amateurs and I remember the threads that Phil posted re the 1.5 v 2.0 debate. A debate which carried on without conclusion or agreement and one that is in danger of being resurrected.  As Garp says there's a personal preference element to this so why not try it for yourself and make your mind up.

Nice pics Livo and good to see Chicken 65 getting a mention, it's a lovely dish in my opinion and one I don't make often enough. I love it as part of a mixed starter with pakora, tikka etc.
