@CT that bag of flour would keep me in chapattis for a while CT.  In fact it would probably come alive before i got half way through it    An Asian lady at my work place swears by Elephant ata  flour It's the best she says.  She does make a damn good chapatti 

I'm sure that tasted as good as it looks Keith and it sure does look the business.  My favourite veg side after brinjal bhaji.  Very good choice on selection of prep method for the spuds too.  I will make this very soon but use frozen spinach which will be prepped as per Ali Viceroy method and combine this with the aloo.  Should be  a match made in heaven.  May even morph it into a chicken saag aloo 

Just think about how much you've save in TA bills though  ;D  Glass now half full rather than half empty guys    and quids in 

Not a true base so i've moved it, but worthy of chatting about.  Not the first time on the site soup has been the topic of a possible quick fix "base".  Could be a "in case of emergency, break glass" moment when there's no gravy in the freezer
