Do you have any particular person in mind Mick?

Now that would be telling Stephen ;D

The thought had struck me recently....

Would you invite a cantankerous, over opinionated misery to dinner?

Not likely.

Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. ;D

Thanks for the info, Mick. How did you find out about this - are these the BIRs you've managed to get 'inside information' from?

Hi Ramirez,
Maliks has had a webcam running for a long time now and I found that just by typing 'Indian restaurant webcam' into google. I had heard of non Indian restaurants doing this so I just tried it out.
East takeaway did the same with the webcam some time after.

Regarding the currys4u outlet...that was mentioned on Maliks website and I messaged them asking when it would be operational.

These places are too far away from me so I have never been to them.
The places that I have got the 'inside information' from are the one's you see in my videos.
Cheers,
Mick

Lets Talk Curry / Another takeaway webcam
July 20, 2011, 09:25 AM
Hi All,
Many of you will be aware of the two Indian takeaway webcams that are currently in use....

Maliks
and
East

There will soon be another. Maliks is opening another takeaway called Currys4u in Crewe. This takeaway will also have a webcam in the kitchen and opens on the 8th of August.

Hi Mick,

I somehow missed this post ???

All looks absolutely amazing fella, it really does.  Wish I had a curry shed but I only have a small back yard and your shed is probably bigger than my yard :(

Ray :)

Hi Ray,
;D I shouldn't laugh mate but I'm getting visions of Coronation Street by your description.
You could just roof over your yard, problem solved .... 8)

Hi George,
A very interesting article.
I have no problem with the author says and it does make a lot of sense.
I like authentic cuisine as well, however, I think there will always be a place for standard BIR food.
I certainly don't aspire to cook junk and I wouldn't call a full flavoured Jalfrezi junk.
Most of us understand the reasons that BIR food exists and I for one am glad that the early Bengali chefs created dishes for 'our' palate. ;D
As you are no longer interested in average BIR fare, does this site now not supply you with what you are looking for?
Good find on the article. 8)
Cheers,
Mick
