Hi Chris

If you could pm me the recipe please.

with regards to group testing, surely doing it this way first will give us a preferred dish that we could then work on 'tweaking' the recipe if it is not quite there?  Either way not everyone is going to be happy.  This is the way I have always found my preferred recipes as it gives me a side by side comparison of dishes without having to try to remember what the previous ctm I cooked was like 3 weeks ago!

Regards

Barry

p.s. tried lorrydoo's CTM and was not a big fan but happy to do again :)

Hi

I think the tikka can add something to the dish when you initially get the sauce flavour then a little bit of the tikka comes through!!  Again I think this shows how even on the forum the differing opinions on something as simple as this are vast.

p.s. I am that freak who loves a mixed meat curry!!  I just love meats!

101% agreed phil.  I think we sometimes ignore our friends/family who tell us 'that is the best curry i have had'.  We are never going to better our favourite curry house but I am happy that only one takeaway in my area can make better curries than I do and that I will never match theirs.  Yet I will still strive for perfection!!!!!!!

HI

I agree with axe that the first part can be cooked in advance although i usually use the pan that i cooked the first stage in for the second stage without cleaning so you get some transfer of the flavours.  The second part is better done fresh so the tomatoes are freshly cooked and juicy!  Hunger strikes!!

Hi

Defo not meant to be mixed.  This is a curry that should be served as soon as it is made as the 2nd curry part starts to seep into the first curry.  Difficult decision for you!!!  Good luck!
