Thanks, not just me then...  ;D

I guess so, but when I first moved here, I wasn't keen on the place behind my house but now I don't eat anywhere else if I can help it! I even went to the one in the next village about 12 months ago as the head chef went off sick in my local, but it just wasn't on par ever..

Would you say that your taste adapts to the local?

I'll avoid that one if I'm ever in Llandudno then!

I visited a lot of BIR's in Scotland over the past 12 months, some were good and some were a bit sub-standard really but I'm screwed if I can remember where we went as I was usually a bit pissed by the time we'd get to one..

Sounds a bit of a clich? but my local is hard to beat. But maybe that's my 'taste'?

I guess that will all come with experience. The guy in my local told me it would take 10 years for a head chef to learn how to cook properly. I'm not sure about 10 years but certainly it'd take a while I would have thought..

Cost?? 35 quid an hour or 10 lessons for 250 quid(which I have gone for).Seems a lot but I feel that I should grab the chance when it's there!!!

Too right.. But when you say 10 lessons, the other day he was there for a couple/few hours, does that count as a lesson to him or is the clock ticking constantly?

If the former, bargain through and through (so long as he continues to show up).

Good on ya for shelling out the dosh for the lessons and sharing though!

Looks nice mate, shame you cannot give the lime a try though  ;D

How did you find it with the tomato in it? I'm not the biggest tomato fan but do sorta enjoy them in a curry..

Our local (ish) tesco extra stocks it. That East End stuff.

Probably a damn sight more than 40p a box though!

Hi, trouble maker, yes that's me.  ;D

I posted a little tongue in cheek reply to what he said, and he got very upset about it.

As has been said, SS only offers criticism and negative views. You cannot even call it constructive criticism.

Even you George, with your "oh I hope you're not one of those people that believes it takes years to learn how to be a bir chef" and thats it! Wouldn't even elaborate a small amount! You're the worst posting stuff like that, it helps no-one!

And SS's attitude:
Quote
If I thought I was an expert I wouldn't be wasting my time here would I TN

Says it all really, take what you can from the forum, and give sod all. Selfishness through and through.

You think your all high and mighty with your 1000 or so posts but it means sod all to anyone.

I've been warned off this forum because of members like yourself, and had a few PM's off others with similar.

I'd also like to apologise to JB for getting in the way of his thread. And to anyone else apart from george and SS.

Signed TyeNoodle (chief trouble maker ::))
