Thanks for the replies. So are you saying remove oil then blend then use the base or freeze it and use the oil for the finished dish. Hope im not confusing matters cheers marc

Hello all, can anyone please tell me why i dont seem to get my oil seperated to the top of my curries. Have made plenty of dishes from the site with good results but cant understand whats happening with my oil , thanks  marc

Hi, thanks for the tips. Made ctm last night using darths base and parts of two recipes from the site. Added two tbls of ground almonds . Superb. Cheers.

Hi , the c.t.m. that we get from our local has a definite almond taste to it. yet i dont see it in any of the recipes on the site. could anyone throw any light on this. cheers.

Hi, could anyone tell me if these thawing methods apply to frozen cooked prawns. I have been known to thaw these in water out of kettle.
