Lets Talk Curry / creamed coconut

I have a 200g block of pure creamed coconut, any suggestions what to do with it?  (keep it clean!!) Would like to use it in a main curry dish, trad or BIR, may be lamb or chicken dish.

Have had the flu, so had to freeze the pork, on dry toast at the moment (boo hoo) When feelin better will marinade in some yog, turmeric, lemon juice etc. will be interesting  how pork works with the spices and methi leaves when i get round to it. Anyways cheers for the posts


ps- made rajvers base, turned out great, if a little thick

First off, hope i don't offend anyone by posting a pork meat query here.

Attempting my first base gravy tommorrow and have the pork which will go to waste otherwise, so will see what happens!

                Yep, My friend is half Indian, and i was suprised when he told me most BIR's are Bangladeshi run. I am a noob at this curry making, but find it quite interesting reading through the threads. Definately more of an art than just cookery!!



ps- can i marinade the pork with anything?

I have some pork tender loin that my mum gave me. I'm not a big pork fan, but can anyone recommend a good curry recipe that works with pork?

Hi there, new to this curry lark. Have attempted 3 curries so far, 2 lamb dhaba's first not rich enough, second was too hot and oil separated, third was a not very good attempt at a korma.But good fun experimenting!! Great site you got going here
