Can you tell me please how many fresh minced chillies you added and was that in addition to or instead of the usual chili powder and how was the flavour compared to without the fresh chili ?

I've always reckoned on 1500 kcals for a good portion of curry ( not the ones with added cream ) , pilau rice and a couple of chapatis or a naan ... add that to a couple of decent beers and you're getting well towards your RDA in one meal .. great .. only cook once a day   :)

Welcome 'nanes .. do try to photograph your new kitchen with some character enhancing turmeric stained splashbacks .. curries and new kitchens are not a match made in heaven but it's a lot of fun so enjoy it   :)
