Thank you Martin.

In your first post, when preparing the first part of your base sauce.
You specify not to stir the mixture.
Is this important, & if so why?

Thanks Phil,

Looks pretty much like a Tablespoon to me.

Hello Martin,

I'm certainly gonna give it a go.
Thanks for posting it.

When I make my curry with it.
What spice mix ( or whose) would you suggest I use?

500g Strong White Flour
1pkt Fast acting Yeast
2tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil
tsp Salt
350ml water

Siv the flour, & yeast into a bowl.
Chuck the water, salt, & oil in, & begin to mix using your hands.
You may need to add a sprinkle more flour making it easier to work.

Once you have a good ball of workable dough.
Need it for 5 Min's, this helps to activate the yeast.

Now, line a glass bowl with olive oil, & drop in your dough.
Place a towel over the top, & put the bowl into a warm dark place for 1 hour.
It should have risen, & trebled in size.

Makes 4 good size Pizzas. Given to me by my Italian mate.

I made this base sauce yesterday morning.

Then made a curry last night using left over beef.

One of the best curries I have ever had, & I've been chomping on this stuff for more than 30yrs now.

Deffo top of my list now. Thanks for posting the recipe.

Hello Chris,

Gave these a go at the weekend.

I did add a little more spice mix, as I like mine quite spicey.
I also added some red, & green peppers.

Bloody lovely ;)

This mint sauce is delicious.

I was wondering if it is ok to freeze it?

I've had 6 portions of this now since joining, & it's a firm favourite with my son, my partner, & everyone who's tasted it.

I really do need to get out my camera.
Trouble is, we just can't wait to get at it.

I think I am developing a compulsive behaviour disorder for this one CA.

Your a curry god.
