Well, they have stainless steel pans at Lidl/Aldi in DE all the time but NEVER any aluminium pans on offer.

Any cheap aluminium pans I see always have a coating, anyway, but I want a blank one. I also can't get a chef spoon, haha, but that's a different story.

We use slightly different utensils here.

BTW: The Lidl brand "Bramwell" gets produced in my home-town here in Germany

I don't see anything wrong with using a different technique to your regular old BIR. As it is Mick has a restaurant and we don't. So his way of doing things is just as "professional"
