Hi Mick
Great Video once again.

Can I ask if that was Methi leaves or powder?

I'd always presume leaves, but it just didn't look like them, to me, when added in the vid. :-\

Cheers

Am having a go at this too, can't believe how quick the seeds sprouted.

Just sprinkled them on a seed tray of compost and put them in the airing cupboard, they had all started to sprout within two days.

Used the hand blender, for the first time, today on a big pot of base (about 10 litres).

It was great, done the job easily.
What surprised me most, was it seemed to have so much power that the suction(?) it creates makes it virtually stick to the bottom of the pan. :o

Didn't even get that warm, even though I had it going 3 times for at least 3 mins constant (they say 60 secs), with only short rests in between (while I added more water to the base).

Yes, I think you have to keep it damp/moist to store it for a while.

Thanks guys

My first hand blender (used a food processor and a liquidiser till now), so wasn't sure if it really was VFM, even if it only sort of cost me a tenner in the end.

As for the Lidl website, I think you have to bare in mind it only ever has that weeks main offers/promotions and a few future ones.
So you won't find past offers (like this and the rice cooker) without finding them through google etc. (cached?).

Maybe that was the problem with my link, I'm always signed in on their site, to see what's coming up, so that's probably why it worked ok for me.

Edit - heres the Rice cooker if link works - http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_30327.htm
Still had some in, in mine.

SilverCREST yes, I've had no problems with their stuff either. ;)

Link works for me ok (on Opera), but when I tried the address on IE it didn't, it went to a sign in page.
So I put it in again, and got a Postcode page, which gave me an ignore/continue arrow, which then took me to the blender page.
Now it always goes straight to the correct page. :-\

Firstly, no I don't work for them, but I do have a Lidl store right across the road from my house.. ;)

These were from last week but mine still had loads in, and I thought for ?14.99 it was a pretty good price, especially as they are rated at 600w (that's pretty good isn't it?)

I wasn't going to get one, buy todays papers (well the Express definitely has) have a Spend ?30 get ?5 off voucher (valid till Monday).
So as I had to get some shopping in I thought that made it even more of a bargain.
