Brilliant result.  All pessimists who clearly do not believe in Britain / UK should seriously now consider relocating to their beloved EU.

I was so confident in the outcome, I placed a ?1k bet at 11:4 and won ?1750.

I thought the margin would have been higher - but then there were very strong Remain motivated mobilisation forces out there such as in Scotland. Fortunately the drive and real passion was with Leave.

Now watch all the other EU countries who are really feeling the painful effects of the EU more than we ever did clamour for their own referendums.  The sooner the evil EU collapses the better.

Forget the Isabella St, First street Indian Tiffin Room, go to  the original one in Cheadle nr Stockport.

Went to the Isabella St, First street Indian Tiffin Room restaurant last night - not a patch on its sister co in Cheadle.

Bought 3x Basket of Fire chilli plants to make up for my losses of my own from seed Super Chillis.  1x of these seem to wither fairly quickly after receipt - replaced by co. foc with a not so clever looking plant which turned out to be their last when I mentioned it didn't look too good.

While I was waiting for this replacement plant to be delivered, my wife commented she thought the other 2 Basket of Fire chilli plants had been overwatered by me - water was coming from the pot base.  Soon after, these 2 plants also appeared to wither and die off.  The replacement when it arrived staggered on and seemed to get better with time.

I went away for a while and left all my plants outside - and boy did it rain while I was away for 5 days.  Fearing the worst, I was amazed to see all the plants thriving and looking really good - albeit all of them thoroughly saturated.

This got me thinking about my 2 'overwatered?' withered died off plants - was it chemicals in the tap water I had been using that killed them off - chlorine?  The saturated with rainwater plants have never looked better.

I will only be using rainwater from now on - or at a pinch, tap water that has been boiled to drive off chlorine.

Just my thoughts - everything else has been the same.

Seeing this post and ano on here of someone saying they have seen gas tandoors with  charcoal in them?? and having built my own tandoor using Jimmy Dohertys dustbin method as shown on tv / youtube, I decided to ask to see the tandoor oven in my local excellent Nepalese - Jai Kathmandu in Palatine Road Northenden Manchester.

The waiter here told me they have never turned it off in 20 years of being open.

Tuesday night this week, I went in to eat and asked to see the Tandoor - and was duly lead into the kitchen - to see my favourite chef by the tandoor.  he showed me with some pride his tandoor oven - took the skillet type steel lid off - revealing large lumpwood charcoal pieces glowing away - no sign of gas feed anywhere.  He confirmed it has never gone out since they opened 20 odd years ago and stressed he would only ever use charcoal - never gas.

Somewhat incredulous, I asked how they kept it going.  Just fill it up with charcoal as we leave every night - raking the ashes out when we come in on duty at 6 pm and stoking up with charcoal as required during each night.

Tandoori food here is delicious - seikh kebabs, tandoori chicken, tikkas, naan - best ever (apart from the Ravi chicken tikkas in Satwa, Dubai).

Even in India, not all Indians eat / like curries !

Look at the many recipes on here - not all contain chillies - yet they are very tasty.

Personally I like chillies - but they are not essential.
