Hi all, thanks for great comments!!!
I used 976bar's chicken bhuna-finally cracked it,https://curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php/topic,6248.0.html
Brilliant curry, my favourite at the moment, I added 1 ts deggi mirch and 3 hot thin green chillis for some extra heat

Accompaniments (Sauces, Chutneys, Dips, etc) / Spicy Onions for poppodoms
January 19, 2014, 02:23 PM
Recipe for a spicy onion chutney/accompaniment for poppodoms. I had this while in majorca at a very tasty Indian, well worth a try
1 large onion
1 teaspon chilli powder/or fresh green chilli
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon mint sauce
2 tablespoons mango chutney
Chop the onions finely (this recipe works best with very small pieces of onion)
Add the chilli and salt ? mix well.
Add the tomato ketchup - mix well.
And mint sauce - mix well.
Finally add the mango chutney and mix.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes to let all the flavours infuse and mature.
Serve with Indian poppadoms and dips, mango chutney, mint yoghurt and pickles. All very delicious!

Bhuna / Re: Chicken Bhuna - Finally Cracked It!!
January 19, 2014, 11:03 AM
Made this curry again last night, and once more it was amazing. I used Admin new base and also added 1ts deggi mirch and 3 hot thin green chillis as I prefer my bhuna hotter. Think this has to be my favourite curry at the moment, cant recommend it enough, thanks 976bar.
