Thanks for the replies.

I will be a happy camper ;D
I do use the freezer bags when freezing chicken anyway.  I will be freezing them in a marinade now to take with me in a few weeks.

thanks again

Hi I was wondering if this would be possible.  I would like to freeze the Lasaan tandoori marinade and Blades tikka marinade with the raw chicken in it.   This is because I am a part time Gypsy in the summer months and space is at a premium in my fridge due to beer n wine ;D..  Really its just for ease so I could make up a few batches & stick them in the freezer so I dont have to take all the ingredients with me.  Then let them defrost overnight & stick them on the barbie the next day.  I have done it with cooked curries but am unsure with a marinade & raw chicken or lamb.

Hi,

I have just made this and found it to be brilliant, tasty & zingy.  I wish I made some more it is really nice!!.  I had to wait a long time to try it due to a mustard oil shortage around here but it was well worth the wait ;D

George,

I think it all is a bit of a scam myself all these anti virus products but I have had a few virus's & trojans in my time (All when I had paid for AV's installed).  I have often wondered if Norton, Mcafee etc make these virus's up so we buy there products, who knows ::).
As someone said earlier, I think it was Santa, Microsoft security essentials is free and quite good by all accounts.  Now as it is free Microsoft in theory have nothing to gain from making it.  So again why make something for nothing?  is it because there really is very little out there to worry about and the cost is minimal to make a product like this? and it shines a bit of a light on the Microsoft empire?
Anyways,  as its free why not use it?  nothing to lose.
I too reinstall everything every 6 months or so too.

PS, pleased to here you got rid of whatever was on your puter Axe ;D

cheers

Hi,
I have been wanting to try this for a while now but couldn't find any mustard oil.
I finally found some "mustard oil" in a chinese supermarket, but it is a mustard oil & rapeseed oil mixture.  Will this be ok to use?  It is called Mustarda.  I dont remember what quantity of each is in the bottle.

Hi,

After my success with Dip's Balti I am going to have a go at this soon,  looks good.

Hi Razor,

I know what you mean it is a bit of a mish mash but I dont think there was a great deal of difference to the base & mix powder & Dip's base and mix powder.  Blades tikka is good so I dont think it would make a difference at all to the Balti.  In the video he does start cooking with a hot pan so I presume he does this with them all and not a cold pan as he did for his first few videos.  I could be wrong tho (I usually am ::) ;D)
The final dish I would happily of paid for in a resteraunt & I would have recommended it to friends without hesitation

Cheers

Will.

I made this tonight for the first time,  I used hot oil though ;)

Superb

I used CA's base as I made a batch the other day & the IG spice mix but both are similar so they wont make much difference to the final dish and Blades Tikka.  I did peterandjen's rice for 8, it worked just as good as for 2 people.  IG's Bhajis again were superb but I added a bout a 1/4 of a tsp more spices than the recipe suggests and for me it works ;D

cheers
