Hi curryhell .. we've all done that I think at some stage or another so it raised a smile   ;)

I think you're quite right about Chewy's madras .. we had it again yesterday evening and it's so good and yet simple I too wonder where the great taste comes from. Mrs. Grigson reckons it's the frying of the pepper and onion at the start but I think the Worcs. sauce adds something too .. whatever it is it's so good as a complete dish it should be left to spec. as far as I'm concerned.

It's a shame it didn't taste as good as it looked because the photos look great ... better luck next time !!   :)

I recall that Razor uses Kashmiri masala paste in his excellent kebabs .. I don't know if it's the same stuff as you have though CCL    :)

I'm pleased for you Phil ... you can't beat chapattis with a curry ... I too cook chapattis nearly every day and can't get enough of them ... much healthier than the bread and butter I used to eat !   :)

You jammy so and so ... what a great idea for a confirmed curryholic .. enjoy it and don't forget to share your experience with a daily diary on here  ;)

That certainly beats the usual tie / socks or novelty mug !!    :)

Good advice there Paul . I would recommend you start with CA's ( Cory Ander ) base and recipes initially since you'll get a great BIR curry without having to buy stacks of stuff and the recipes are pretty much foolproof too as long as you follow it precisely.... good luck whatever you do !!   :)

Nice post TT !  ....  I like the look of those kebabs ... I'll have to dust off the BBQ and give them a go   ;)
