nice tests guys well done, I have tried them all apart from Madhurs & this gives me reason not to ;D.

Just an observation that the Lasaan tikka is infact Tandoori chicken & not tikka?  as I consider tandoori & tikka to be different dishes.

cheers & keep up the good work 8)

Dopiaza / Re: Mick's/Taz's Dopiaza (Madras Hot)

Well this has been on my "to do" list for quite a while.

I found this recipe very simple to do (I made it to spec) but I was not sure when to stop the reducing of the base.  I guess I got it right though ;D.  It turned out a really great  curry which suprised me in a way, as it was so easy to do ::)

Thanks Mick & Taz, I can't wait to try some others

I gave this a go too tonight exactly to spec.

It was suprisingly good.  Everyone liked it very much me included & I usually go for something a good bit hotter.  Will definately do this again thanks for the recipe Lorrydoo ;D

ooh, I just got to try this 976bar & Jerry,
I spent quite a while in Jamiaca many years ago with work and the jerk chicken & pork was amazing from the road side vendors.  Tried the supermarket pastes etc here which were ok. (dunns river falls the best but hotter/spicier than there which I enjoyed all the same) but I have never had a go at making my own (not knowlegable enough with spices).  Jerk chicken is on a par with tandoori chicken as one of my all time favourite dishes.  When I get the spices together I will give them both a go,

cheers

Hi 976
No I haven't got the recipe for that (thought it was one of CA's) so if you could post that would be great.

that looks delicious 976, I might have to have a go at that when I get time as the wife loves byriani & I might try the garlic & chilli sauce with mine.

cheers
