Nice one Blondie!

Ive had that chefs secret response enough times myself and im sure that half the time they say it as they can't be arsed to explain the whole gravy process and ingredients to you, when they realise you actually know what your talking about they are a bit more open.

Im sure that what you were told about the standard chicken curry is right, my base is nice on its own and a little salt and spiced chicken added would make a nice curry, il have to try it.

Cheers,

Thats why its so hard to find in the search, searching for korma brings up loads of hits but none of which are in the resturant recipe group.

Does anyone think that it's a good thing

Yes!

Whats the alternative, close this forum and go back to reading Khis Dhillion and Pat Chapman books? :o

Either that or forking out 5 quid a go for yet another renamed, "secrets of the restaurant chefs" ebook on ebay!!

Curry King - I fear this forum is starting to become too successful for its own good! Locating past nuggets of information is inevetably becoming quite a task. The korma recipe is somewhere in a posting earlier this month. I don't know what the answer is to forum management. The main headings are clear and logical but we often drift a bit off-topic in our enthusiasm for individual topics of conversation.

What I have been doing is to continue the thread but if posting a recipe post it in the restaurant recipes group and then link to it rather than post it in here.

Ive tried the search but no luck?

Nice, I'l give this ago when I get some more lentils.  This is one that I can never quite find the right taste, always nice but not quite right.

All of you who say you cant get the taste, Im now of the opinion thats its all in your heads ;D

I agree, everyone whos tasted my currys have said as good if not better than the restaurant.  I am sceptical that they are that good but i'l go with the general opinion  :D

Ive got a listing on ebay at the moment warning people about getting ripped of and sending them a link to the forum and ive just seen one on there selling the 200 recipe secrets program signed by the author, people are actually bidding on it!!  :o
