Hi

Had a crack at these tonight more interested in the cooking technique than the recipe but i did use this recipe and prabably the easiest and quickest naan recipe i have made yet. Now after a couple of attempts where the naans fell off onto the flame i got it going and they do come out great definetly one to add to the recipe book

cheers

Lets Talk Curry / Re: the hottest curry
October 03, 2011, 07:19 AM
Hi
this is the portion i made
veg oil
2 tbsp finely chopped onion
1/2 tbsp g/g paste
1/2 tbsp red chilli flakes
1/2 tbsp blended green chillies
1/2 tbsp black pepper
1/2 tbsp spice mix ( razors )
1/2 tbsp tom puree
pinch of salt
300ml base sauce ( chewys )
fresh coriander

The curry its self was just about the right heat for my personal taste not to hot but i have been to the loo this morning and the ring sting is there  :o if you like it hot hot id suggest leaving the chilli quantities as full tbsp

Hi
Have just made a portion of this only used 300ml of base so halved the ingredients so don't know if that will affect the heat but it its a nice curry not to hot at half the ingredients does leave a nice tingle in the back of your throat will be making again

cheers

My local has just started doing what they are calling the hottest curry in britain you have to sign a disclamer form before you eat it and if you finish it you get it for free but not been tempted to try it.
by the way the place is the dilshad in cannock if anyone fancies it  ;D

Hi Jerry

My missus cousin used to work for a place that supplies the chicken to shops and used to get us packs for a fiver it was boned out thigh meat and was very nice it was on the side of minted chicken but not minted chicken if you know what i mean ill see if he still works there they stopped them getting the chicken at cost price so not had any for a while ill look into it.
