BBQ lunch, not me cooking :(

Hungry, but can't get motivated to do anything... toasted sandwich I think.

Welcome from another induction user. Not sure I wouldn't prefer gas, but fine once you get used to it cooking directly from the bottom.

Re: What

The missus is off her fad diet and cooked me something!

Heart cooked Turkish style with onions, tomato, garlic, green chilli (of course), parsley with pommes de terre rissol?es (French for small chips)

Lovely!

Looking good Phil. But why would you want to ruin good food by dredging it in Knorr powder? Salt isn't an exotic herb you know..

Green chillis again I see!

Thankfully the missus is off her diet tomorrow, so I can actually cook something resembling food.

Yeah, the viceroy stuff is on youtube, 'handi' recipes are very similiar, I believe the name comes from the pot it's cooked in, I could be wrong. Your photo looks pretty much the same.

The middle one would be long gone!

Have you checked out 'handi' precooks or 'viceroy precooked chicken'?

The recipes are very similiar, but without the onion. It certainly gets a certain taste into your food.

I know, I was just calling Phil a fool :D.

I used to get myself a broadsheet in on a Sunday and loved the food section (usually the Times) until it just got too expensive. I didn't know the 'torygraph' was free, so thanks for the heads-up. I believe in the theory that you should never read a newspaper that agrees with your political opinion.
