A santoku knife is also one on my list, but I would certainly consider picking one with a heavier handle, like the Wusthof

Its a bit of a dilemma Goncarlo as i have a few Sabatiers but my 2 biggest knives are Victorinox and for me they are great. Buff up on the steel superb and cut through nearly everything I've tried them on. Decisions decisions.

As for the board i nearly bought the Raspberry Pi till I saw that one. It's hopefully going to form the backbone of the multimedia/ navigation computer of my new boat next year as a project. Fingers crossed

As its just over 5 weeks until Christmas starts (trust me I know about these things), what items with regards to cooking and other things would you like of Santa this year?

Here's my list up till now

A G3 Ferrarri Pizza oven, that pizza thread does me in every time.

One of these as I really like my big Victorinox knives

Victorinox Swiss Classic Santoku vegetable knife

Non cooking

One of these if they ever get them out

Udoo quad core

This may be added to by the way.  ;D

Didn't twig but if this is the case it's definitely not playing cricket.  Hopefully they won't pinch any off Chris.

Rob  >:(

I wouldn't worry as they have now had their account teminated by Youtube for 3rd party copyright infringements.

That does look lush and something I'll have to have ago at. The missus regularly does keema aloo (avec peas and with beef mince) and I love it. Mince and tatties with peas indian style  :)

What a beautiful place to live. Where is it? Most of us can dream only of visiting such a location for a couple of weeks a year, if we're lucky.

I think you'll find its Whitley Bay George  ::)

For what it's worth I've been able to download the actual Panorama images - you can view them in Windows Image Viewer but not in any other program. They are not JPEGs despite having such a file ending. No idea what type of file they are, the linux "file" utility just says "data".

Anyway, try them in Windows Viewer:

If you figure out the real format these were created with then you might be able to export them to a video format.

They are panoramic photos for which i don't know much abaout. If you change the extension to .swf they'll open in adobe flash player. Just need a program to rotate them  ???
