Hi Chewy

As everyone has already said - superb video - thanks for sharing with us.

Please could you confirm if this is the sauce that the chef adds to the Dhansak? - http://www.spicesofindia.co.uk/acatalog/Indian-Food-Maggi-Tamarina-Tamarind-Sauce.html

Many thanks

Pictures of Your Curries / Re: My Curries

Hi tongey

Just seen your picture thread - wow what a lot of curry! good job looks very delicious. What Kebab recipe do you use?

If you are interested in trying another great recipe then Razors recipe is in my opinion superb too! (https://curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=4393.0). Razor also has an updated version on page 8 although it is probably worth reading the whole thread for tips etc.

Cheers

Hi Russ. Does it confirm whether the measurements of the pastes were tablespoon or chef's spoon? ISTR there being some debate over this point.

Hi

Having reviewed the clips available, it is actually quite complex. We have chef spoons and desert spoons for different things all over the place!

For fear of informing everyone of the wrong thing, I will stitch the clips together and post so everyone can see.

* Will probably not be uploaded until the weekend. Sorry.

Thanks

Hi CH

Having looked at the footage it really does not show anything complete enough to be of value. Just a small section of Az spooning out some pastes into an already 1/2 started pot of other stuff - nothing that would really be able to show anyone much of use I'm afraid :( .

Cheers

Curry Videos / Re: CBM Little India Part 3

Hi Mick

Awesome video post! really enjoyed watching them!

Was getting worried about that masala dish - seemed like the chef was never going to take it off the heat and kept it going with little ladles of gravy. Looked great when he decanted it in to the TA container though!

Thanks again for posting.

Hi

Looks like it must be a Firefox browser or Add Block Plus issue. Works fine in M$ IE.

I've made around 8 curries since I got mine and it's great so d
Far looks exactly the same as the above pictures and seasoned the same too
It sure does stink the house out when you season it :)

Hi Currymonster

It certainly does indeed!

Ordered the same pan and a wok of similar material, very pleased with them. However, seasoning caused all sorts of smoke, eye watering, smoke alarms going off...

When you first use the seasoned pans don't forget to cook out some sacrificial ingredients first to remove the remaining seasoning oil such as some sliced onions. When cooked out, thrown them away and wipe the pan clean. Then you should be ready to go.

Good pans though, very pleased with them!

Cheers
