Talk About Anything Other Than Curry / Re: Admins?
December 03, 2011, 12:53 PM
Yes, the lack of admins is a problem and something that has been spoken about several times. Not sure what Stew's plans are in terms moderators - the only active moderators are himself and George (although his role is purely for spam removal). I've put my name forward a couple of times as someone who would be willing to act as a moderator, but I've had no feedback.

Spam is being discussed in here: https://curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=6400.0

Same with the Vindaloo thread I reckon - it should be a new thread. Give it the exposure it deserves.  :)

I also have this hand blender and I completely agree - it's very good. The big foot is superb at blending bases.

Lets Talk Curry / Re: CTM Chicken Tikka Masala

CA's is probably my favourite CTM on this site, but with the sugar halved. Mick's (CBM) is also very nice, as is lorrydoo's (even better with 976bar's mods).

Welcome back - seen quite a few of your posts from old.

Did you really just forget this place?

Cooking Equipment / Re: Garabi Maker

I've used the Cuisinart one for doing soups, as a family member has one. They're pretty good and very convenient, as it's an all in one solution. They're pricey though, so I suppose it becomes a question of whether you can justify it.

Be interested to hear what you think if you do get one and how a scaled-down version of your base fares.

I had similar feelings when I found this site. It's such a great resource and community.
