Agh, two months?  We were both robbo'd

FTFY

That lamb sounds so unlucky though. Especially as, by the sound of it, it only went wrong so close to the end!

(Phil: suggested soundtrack: "I am the walrus". Because he was the Eggman too!)

They were spamming too, Phil, so feel free to block them for copyright violations also. I doubt we'll be losing a contributor.

Looking good, Phil. A 14" horn of plenty! Maybe "only" potato and onion, but I bet it was filling. Perhaps some green chilli too?

It's true that, on principal, meat is better cooked on the bone (and under skin, for that matter, where applicable) as the bone (specifically of course the marrow) adds flavour. Shame to waste it livo!

Mind you: What. A. Feast.

Much leftovers?!

I've always used Kashmiri chilli for its smokey favour rather than any brain-boiling heat.

Back by popular demand  :)

Tbh, the advert (on his YT channel) for his restaurant is pretty good-sleek, realistic yet professional, and does and all-round good at fulfilling criterion #1 of any ad, viz. enticement.

But the camera then moves into the takeaway section, which is, of course, a Generic Fried Chicken place, incl. mandatory elephant leg and pizzas that disguise their flavour in the packaging. Fatal mistake.

I'll be doing this this afternoon, pending tonight's curry. (Which still needs to be decided itself!)

I think he could do with a sub-editor though ;)

Good man Phil, much appreciated. It certainly seems popular!

Re: Your duties. Should these posts be moved to a Syed's Tikka thread?

Has Syed's put his tikka recipe up here? Can only find the lamb on his YT, and good though Lamb Tikka is:

It's not Chicken Tikka.
