Had fish-and-chips from Trebonney in Roche earlier this week.  Cod, chips and mushy peas for just over £11-00.  Sufficient for two meals.  'Nuff said.  Oh, except that there is no way it will be Sarson's original malt vinegar — "non-brewed condiment" is standard fare in almost all British F-&-C shops.

I  love Japan, Robbo (especially Kyoto) but I am afraid that, IMHO, their curries are not in the same league as (the better) BIR ones.  Looking at your photograph, I get the distinct impression that the sauce has been artificially thickened using potato starch (片栗粉 / katakuriko) or similar — was that the impression that you got when you ate it, or did it seem that the texture was derived purely from the vegetable and spice content ?

That would be great, UF, but after all this time only Onions can updated the corrupted messages.  The one to which I sent the link is obviously corrupt, so if you have that archived and could send a copy to Onions he would be able to update the original.  Alternatively perhaps liaise with Yousef with a view to becoming a moderator, so that you can correct the corrupt messages yourself.  In the meantime, as soon as I spot more corrupt messages I will let you know.

Yes, there are very few who can produce a 0%-alcohol drink that is worthy of consumption (and certainly no 0% spirits or wines) but Peroni have definitely cracked it with Peroni Zero, and Brewdog "Nanny State" or Clausthaler Extra Herb are excellent for the 0.5% range ...
