A little experiment, prawn and paneer tandoori with lemon and chat masal, very nice, a little well done so a few mins less next time  :)

You need to dilute it and blend as 1 pack is insufficient at 175 mls, I follow Phils recommendation of 1:1 with water

For someone like me who doesn't make that many saucy curries it's good enough, after all the base is basically just the carrier for your spicing, and can vary from very few ingredients to quite complicated

Guys diluted 1:1 and used to make a prawn madras with CTs madras recipe made a very acceptable curry even with only 1tbsp of oil in the curry! Saucy curries back on the menu every fortnight

Hi

Here's my recent madras sauce using diluted Shaheen base in a pack and making a zeera madras sauce! I also reduced the oil in the main curry to 1 tbsp rather than 4 and for me it was very close and certainly an acceptable healthy alternative. Prawns going in tomorrow, can't wait
