Talk About Anything Other Than Curry / 8 Ball Pool
September 12, 2011, 12:01 AM
Warning! This game is HIGHLY addictive, but don't let that put you off as it's great fun playing opponents from all over the world. The game play is realistic, but the rules aren't what I'm used to, (British Pub Rules)!

I happily admit to needing a fix, nearly every night!

Good luck  ;D

I enjoyed looking at Fishy's pictures.

:)

I liked the pictures too, and being there, feeling the heat, the smell of the chicken cooking was AWESOME, even better the delicious results.  ;D

Isn't that what this wonderful forum is all about, sharing ideas and tips to get that fantastic BIR taste?

All the best!

Viewing chefs on you-tube cooking their curries, the heat from the burner looks to be very high.

Flames abound!

Does anyone here on the forum use an intense amount of heat when cooking?

Thanks  :)

Hee hee Moonster, yes it is like rocket fuel! Goes very well with Westons Special Reserve Cider, rocket fuel from apples!  ;D

Great post. Love the apron too! Would really like to see a Jalfrezi comparison - one of my favourites  ;D

My fellow curry head friend says that beer should always be drunk during the cooking of a curry, IMHO I agree totally!  ;D

The base was from my curry head friend, and I've lost the recipe, sorry. I think it was very similar to Taz's base, except I remember adding swede, which made it a little too vegetable flavoured, was usuable though.

The cooking water for the rice had 1 tsp of Tumeric.

Do you know of any wines that go well with a curry?

Thanks  :)

A Jalfrezi to my own recipe, but can't wait until curry night (Thursday!) going to try Cory Ander's Jalfrezi recipe.
