Lets Talk Curry / Re: Passing wind after a curry

Of course being a lady (shurrup Razor and SS!) I never have these side effects...I'm like the Queen, me ;D

Charcoal tablets are supposed to work well though....I wouldn't advise the use of corks though....Hubby tried it once but the build up of gas got too much and he shot the cat :(

Oh! and Manchester Tart, but enough about her lol ;)

Ray ;D

We had a lass like that at our school too...she'd show the boys her frou-frou for marbles or sweets. :o ;D

Hi Axe ;)

The cheese things were oblong, about 2 finger's width and depth...I could never work out how they'd made them. Really crispy on the outside and soft light yellow cheese oozing out, no doubt those big catering size mild cheeses that all the schools with kitchens used. Cheese just dipped in batter isn't the same, I tried that years and years ago. More batter-looking than the pic SS posted which look a bit choux-pastryish to me lol

I don't recall these aigrettes at school but our school used to do a battered cheese-type dish that the muslims used to have as a vegetarian option. We used to swap our puddings for them they were that nice....

They're Huddersfield Town fans Jerry, nothing (and I mean nothing!) keeps him away from his Saturday aft blow-outs...even when they're playing away his afternoon is booked in front of the computer listening to it on the radio ??? MEN! ::) can't live with 'em, can't hollow them out and use them as a canoe! bugger! ;D

I keep trying to get him into making curries rather than just eating them but all to no avail  >:( ...I think it's down to him being a Yorkshireman, he likes his woman tied up and in the kitchen though I must admit my fave part is the tiesy upsie pmsl :o

mmmmmm jerk chicken, rice and peas and some lovely warm fried dumplings! I'll have to give these a go too....we're a bit "curried out" so we're having a bit of a break :o Having said that, I made some samosas yesterday - I'll have to post some pics :)
